Pleasure Ways are solidly constructed and thoughtfully designed right down to individual reading lights over the bed. Our Plateau is in excellent condition inside and out with 24,053 miles on it. It is built on a Mercedes 3500 Sprinter chasis with dual rear wheels and a 3.0L, V6 diesel that averages 18-22 mpg. It has been well cared for with regular service.
We have driven this vehicle through the Rocky Mountains and it handled the inclines, declines and curves of the terrain with ease. At national and state parks it was able to fit into campsites that larger vehicles often could not. Both my wife and I found driving the vehicle a pleasure and passing was a breeze. We found it convenient to park and the backup camera was most helpful. The coach includes all the comforts of home: Queen size bed (motorized), air conditioning, Fantastic Vent Fan, 16,000 BTU furnace with thermostat, 6 gallon water heater, 2 burner stove, stainless steel sink, 3-Way refrigerator & freezer, convection/microwave, swing out 22"TV/Blue Ray DVD player with antenna booster, Corian counters and bathroom with shower. We never wanted for more space; it has loads of storage including a clothes closet. It even has an outside shower.
We drove our Pleasure Way to a music festival and were able to camp four nights without hookup or generator (Onan 2.5KW LP generator). It is a perfect vehicle to experience the wonders and beauty of our great country What a peaceful feeling to wake up in the morning, pull back the window curtains, drink some hot cofffee fresh off the stove and look through the windows to the sights and sounds of nature. It was also a kick to sit outside in the shade provided by the camper van's awning and read a book or just sit and enjoy a glass of wine.
If wanted we will include a cargo carrier that attaches to the hitch for those longer trips
