Copy of a 1956 Benroy teardrop trailer. Built in 2006 from careful measurements of an original Benroy, and from shop notes and interview of the original Benroy builder, Bennet Petersen. Includes a sink and 6 gallon water tank, stove and tongue-mounted propane tank. Full-size trailer tires and spring suspension, welded frame, aluminum skin. Walls are 3/8" plywood (non-insulated). Interior cabin has a shelf above the feet (which also holds the poly water tank) and 2 small cabinets above your head. The galley has a small fold-up table and three drawers. It has always been garaged and has no dry rot, but we have camped in heavy thunderstorms with no water leakage. 4" foam mattress. 6-pin plug for the trailer lights and cabin lights (1 reading light, 1 cabin light, 1 galley light that run off the tow vehicle battery). Weighs about 800lbs., tongue weight 125 lbs. Interior cabin length 72", cabin width 46", cabin height 40". Overall length 11', width 70", height 59". Tows like a dream, you can't see it in your side mirrors.
