See the July 2026 RV Recalls from NHTSA

For July 2026, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) listed the RV recalls announced for the month. Among the brands included in the RV recalls for July are Ember, Entegra Coach, Forest River, Foretravel, Grand Design RV, HeartlandRV , Jayco, Newell Coach, and Winnebago. 

This monthly list of July 2026 RV recalls is an increase from the recalls from the previous month of June. 

 

Ember Recreational Vehicles 

Affected Models: Certain 2027 Overland Series, E-Series, and Touring Series Travel Trailers 

Recall. Ember Recreational Vehicles, Inc. (Ember) is recalling certain 2027 Overland Series, E-Series, and Touring Series travel trailers, affecting 33 potential units. The Federal Certification Label may list an incorrect Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” 

Action for owner. Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Ember RV will also mail replacement labels to owners. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Ember RV customer service at 1-844-732-4204. 

 

Forest River 

Affected Models: Certain 2026–2027 Wildwood and Salem Models

Recall. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026–2027 Wildwood and Salem travel trailers, affecting 18 potential units. The Federal Placard may list an incorrect gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (FMVSS) number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars.” Referencing the incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. 

Action for owner. Dealers will install a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 22, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River’s number for this recall is 04-2075. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2027 Unmapped, Sabre, No Boundaries, IBEX, Surveyor, Sierra, and Sandpiper Models

Recall. Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2027 Unmapped, Sabre, No Boundaries, IBEX, Surveyor, Sierra, and Sandpiper travel trailers, affecting 804 potential units. The Federal Placard may state an incorrect fresh water tank capacity. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” Incorrect water tank capacity information can allow the vehicle to be overloaded and increase the risk of a crash. 

Action for owner. Dealers will replace the incorrect label, free of charge. Forest River will also mail corrected labels to owners. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed in July 2026. Owners of Surveyor, IBEX, No Boundaries, and Unmapped trailers may contact customer service at 1-574-642-3119. Sabre owners may contact customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-2076. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2026–2027 Pause and OG Luxury Coach Models

Recall. Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2026–2027 Pause travel trailers and OG Luxury Coach RVs equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans, affecting 69 potential units. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. 

Action for owner. Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed in July 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River’s number for this recall is 51-2077. 

 

Foretravel 

Affected Models: Certain 2027 Realm Presidential Models

 

Recall. Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2027 Realm Presidential motorcoaches, affecting three potential units. The printed circuit board in the MaxxAir fan assembly may fail during certain operations and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. 

Action for owner. Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 27, 2026. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2025–2027 Realm Presidential Models 

Recall. Foretravel, Inc. is recalling certain 2025–2027 Realm Presidential motorcoaches, affecting 69 potential units. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Brake lights that remain on may fail to alert other vehicles of the driver’s intention, increasing the risk of a crash. 

Action for owner. Foretravel will work with Shyft to replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 21, 2026. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226. 

Grand Design RV 

Affected Models: Certain 2026–2027 Lineage Models 

Recall. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design RV) is recalling certain 2026–2027 Lineage recreational vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans, affecting 448 potential units. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. 

Action for owner. Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 21, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design RV customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design RV’s number for this recall is M910063. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2026 Imagine Travel Trailers 

Recall. Grand Design RV is recalling certain 2026 Imagine travel trailers, affecting two potential units. The outlet cover may have been improperly secured, allowing screws to contact wiring. Contact with wiring may cause a short circuit or an electrical arc, increasing the risk of a fire. 

Action for owner. Dealers will inspect and repair the screws as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design RV customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design RV’s number for this recall is 910064. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2026–2027 Lineage Motorhomes Equipped with the 20-Inch Wheel and Tire Package 

Recall. Grand Design RV is recalling certain 2026–2027 Lineage motorhomes equipped with the 20-inch wheel and tire package, affecting 10 potential units. The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars.” Incorrect tire pressure information can result in overinflated tires, increasing the risk of tire failure and a crash. 

Action for owner. Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design RV customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design RV’s number for this recall is M910065. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2027 Imagine Models 

Recall. Grand Design RVis recalling certain 2027 Imagine recreational trailers, affecting seven potential units. The inverter prep circuit conductor may have insufficient overcurrent protection, causing the conductor to overheat and increasing the risk of a fire. 

Action for owner. Dealers will replace the breaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design’s number for this recall is 910066. 

Jayco/Entegra Coach/Heartland RV

Affected Models: Certain 2026 Seismic Fifth Wheel Toy Haulers 

Recall. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2026 Seismic fifth wheel toy haulers, affecting 205 potential units. The inverter may have been installed without a grounding connection. The electrical system may overheat without a ground, increasing the risk of a fire and electrical shock. 

Action for owner. Dealers will install a ground wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901660. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2026 Heartland Cyclone Travel Trailers and Cyclone Fifth Wheel Trailers 

Recall. Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2026 Heartland Cyclone travel trailers and Cyclone fifth wheel trailers, affecting 182 potential units. The inverter may have been installed without a grounding connection. The electrical system may overheat without a ground, increasing the risk of a fire and electrical shock. 

Action for owner. Dealers will install a ground wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 10, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9905661. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2026 Entegra Coach Anthem Motorhomes 

Recall. Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2026 Entegra Coach Anthem motorhomes, affecting five potential units. The tire size may be incorrect on the vehicle certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.” Incorrect information may result in the wrong-sized replacement tires being installed, increasing the risk of a crash. 

Action for owner. Jayco will mail replacement labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 28, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9903662. 

 

Affected Models: Certain 2025 Entegra Coach Reatta and Reatta XL, 2026 Cornerstone Reserve, and 2024–2026 Cornerstone, Aspire, and Anthem Motorhomes 

Recall. Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2025 Entegra Coach Reatta and Reatta XL, 2026 Cornerstone Reserve, and 2024–2026 Cornerstone, Aspire, and Anthem motorhomes built on certain Spartan K1, K2, and K4 chassis, affecting 265 potential units. The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Brake lights that remain on may fail to alert other vehicles of the driver’s intention, increasing the risk of a crash. 

Action for owner. Dealers will replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. 

 

Newell Coach 

Affected Models: Certain 2025–2027 P50 Models 

Recall. Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2025–2027 P50 coaches, affecting 51 potential units. The steer axle air spring base may crack. A cracked base may result in a loss of air pressure and suspension support, increasing the risk of a crash. 

Action for owner. Dealers will inspect and replace the air springs as necessary and add a support plate to the base, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355. 

 

Winnebago 

Affected Models: Certain 2027 Navion and View Models 

Recall. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2027 Navion and View recreational vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans, affecting 134 potential units. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. 

Action for owner. Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 4, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 209.
