Whether you’re a couple who loves to entertain or a family who loves to travel in luxury, the 2027 Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton 37 BH is designed to glamp in style. This eye-catching motorhome has so many ultraluxurious features that it’s hard to know where to begin. But let’s start at the top with the low-maintenance one piece fiberglass roof. Moving downwards, there’s the standard, gorgeous full-body paint. And the glamorous exterior is just a taste of what you’ll find inside.
This luxurious single-axle motorhome is loaded with outstanding features that should satisfy even the most demanding glamper. And I’m excited to tell you all about it. So, let’s get rolling with this review.
I rated the 2027 Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton 37BH a 8.7 out of 10. This model simply oozes luxury. It’s a full-featured Class A diesel that has all the key components for glamping. And it doesn’t particularly matter whether you’re fully hooked up and completely off-grid.
While many Class As are short on guest space, the Phaeton 37BH not only has sleeping space for guests or children, but it has room for all their gear too. The design also showcases some neat solutions — like having a much-needed dishwasher in place of the gas oven (that nobody uses). All told, the Phaeton 37BH is an outstanding Class A.
The main sleeping space in the Phaeton 37BH is in the luxurious master bedroom at the back of the coach. The east-west king bed has overhead reading lights on both sides of the bed. Each side of the bed also gets a CPAP-ready nightstand with USB and 110-volt plugins. Like the rest of the coach, bedroom colors are light and relaxing. (Sure to contribute to restful nights.)
There’s plenty of storage here too. Cabinets over the bed provide storage for books (or whatever smaller items you have). But the highlight of the bedroom storage is in the wall of wardrobe cabinets and drawers at the foot of the bed. His-and-hers mirrored wardrobes provide a place to hang jackets and shirts. Below the wardrobes are roomy drawers and a convenient laundry hamper to help keep everything nice and neat. A well-placed, 42-inch LED smart TV makes the bed a cozy spot to watch your favorite movies. Overall, this is a well-designed bedroom.
Additionally, in contrast to many luxury Class As, there’s actual sleep space for guests: a dinette that converts (for one adult or two kids) and bed over the cockpit that descends into a sleep space fit for two adults.
The Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton 37BH has both a gorgeous en suite bathroom at the rear of the coach and a convenient half bathroom as well. The en suite bathroom has a spacious shower that tall people will be able to shower comfortably in. It’s almost residential feeling — except that it has a Water Miser to help conserve water. This shower has all the things too. There’s a built-in shower caddy and an elegant black towel bar. Overhead, there’s a skylight that lets in light and adds even more ceiling height. The MaxxAir fan has its own pleated shade, so you don’t have to look up and see a fan.
A nice tile vanity backsplash helps create a residential feeling here. There’s plenty of storage in this bathroom for all the bathroom necessities a couple or a small family needs. Light-colored cabinets and drawers keep the feeling open and light here. An apartment-size washer and dryer are neatly tucked beside the toilet. (Making the hassles associated with going to laundromats a thing of the past.)
The half bath is convenient for entertaining guests or even traveling with a family. Again, we see an elegant, tiled backsplash along with towel bars and a built-in hand towel ring by the vanity. There’s also ample cabinet storage for personal items and cleaning supplies in the vanity cabinet and drawer, as well as a two-door medicine cabinet.
On a side note: Both toilets in the Phaeton 37BH are Thetford Tecma toilets. These are said to be ultra quiet, which makes toilet flushing discrete — especially when there are multiple people on-board. Tiffin Motorhomes does a good job providing enough space around these toilets that no one will feel walled-in when using them.
The living space in the Phaeton 37BH has power reclining theater seats across from a credenza. The credenza houses both a fireplace and a lift TV. It’s a neat setup because the credenza can be used as extra counter space when you’re entertaining guests. However, a key feature is that the fireplace itself fronts a huge pull-out storage space.
Both the driver and the passenger front seats swivel around to face the living space and add more comfortable seating. (Because, yes, they both recline.) In addition, there’s comfortable seating around the drop-down dinette.
Outside, this Phaeton has an expansive integrated awning that expands to add a lot more sheltered living outdoors. Of course, LED awning lights and wind sensors are standard on the power awning, so you won’t need to worry (quite as much) about the wind wreaking havoc with the awning. A 32-inch LED smart TV allows you to keep up with the playoffs while you’re relaxing outdoors.
The kitchen in the Phaeton 37BH is perfect for entertaining or creating a gastronomic feast your family or friends will remember. Like the bathroom, it has all the things: Extensive counter space, a huge residential, French-door fridge with a bottom-freezer drawer, pull-out pantry drawers, a coffee center. (If you can dream it, this RV kitchen probably has it.) The quick-heating, two-burner induction cooktop, and large convection/microwave/air fryer provide a propane-free way to create meals. And after dinner is over, there’s a built-in dishwasher to make after dinner clean up a breeze.
A big single-bowl, farmhouse-style sink with a pull-down gooseneck faucet and a pull-out for storing brushes and other dishwashing necessities is conveniently located next to the refrigerator. Storage here isn’t excessive, but there’s still enough for storing all of your meal prep and cooking supplies.
A cozy fireplace, luxurious heated-tile floors, a ducted furnace, and three rooftop air conditioners are just the start of what makes the Phaeton 37BH a capable four-season RV. It also features heated basement storage and enclosed tanks and utilities as well as a robust insulation package. With that said, this RV is better suited for travel to warm southern destinations than venturing up a mountain to go skiing.
Every Tiffin Motorhomes RV I’ve seen has had phenomenally well-executed storage space. The Phaeton 37BH is no exception. Outside, there are multiple passthrough storage bays with side-opening doors and power trays to allow for ease of access to stored items. Tiffin Motorhomes adds some really neat extras here— like a power cord reel and a water hose reel in the utility bay. If you’ve ever struggled with deploying or packing up a heavy RV power cord, you’ll appreciate having these organized and ready to go when you need them. There’s even a separate bay for a sewer hose.
Inside the Phaeton 37BH, hardwood cabinets and drawers provide a place to store everything. While these are beautiful and well-constructed by obviously skilled craftsmen, I was disappointed that the drawers didn’t have dovetail joinery.
Deep storage beneath the dinette bench seats is a great place to stash bedding or guest luggage. In the bedroom, there’s a pull-out laundry hamper. (My only issue with this is that it’s not in the bathroom, where the washer and dryer are.) However, at least it’s there to provide out of the way laundry storage.
The Phaeton 37BH has enough storage for two or more people on extended road trips, which is exactly what it’s designed for.
The Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton 37BH sits on a Freightliner Powerglide XC raised-rail chassis, offering extra height for basement storage. It’s powered by a Cummins L9 450 HP diesel engine and an Allison 3,000 transmission. The result of this combination is a respectable 10,000-pound towing capacity. (Which is enough to tow a trailer load of toys or most tow-behind vehicles.)
Equipped with heated and cooled power seats, the cockpit of the Phaeton 37BH has everything you need at hand to feel focussed and confident on the road. Everything is at hand for the driver with a clear view of the monitor for the backup and sideview cameras. No more fidgeting with toggle switches. These have been replaced by a convenient bank of touch buttons that look like they belong on the Starship Enterprise.
Overall, the cockpit in the Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton 37BH offers the premium driving experience that one expects in a motorhome in its class.
Like most other Class A diesel pushers, the Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton BH37 is just as well-suited to being on grid as off-grid. This RV is built for ultracomfortable travel. In light of that, it has massive holding tank capacities, as well as either a 600-watt or 1,200-watt solar package, depending on your specifications.
No sunshine? No problem. The Phaeton 37BH has a 100-kilowatt Onan quiet diesel generator that’s more than capable of running everything in the RV. (Nicely, with a lot less noise than its predecessors.)
Remote workers will love that the Phaeton 37BH is prepped for Starlink in motion satellite. This means you can stay connected, even when you’re on the road.
The Phaeton 37BH has a lot going for it as a luxurious Class A motorhome. It can be used year-round, But it also offers off-grid power options and large tank sizes. (So, you enjoy a wealth of amenities wherever —and whenever — you are.) Build quality is unusually good on this RV too, with features like solid hardwood cabinets and high-end appliances. Compared to other Class As in this price range, the Phaeton 37BH offers excellent value for anyone who prefers glamping in sumptuous style.
The 2027 Tiffin Motorhomes Phaeton 37BH is a great choice for either couples who like to entertain when they travel or families who want to explore the open road in comfort. It’s a well-executed Class A that’s filled with luxurious amenities and features, starting outside with head-turning, full-body paint and extensive, side-opening storage bays. The combination of a powerglide chassis and space-age cockpit create a driving experience that’s second to none. If you’re looking for extensive luxury in a new RV, the Phaeton 37BH should be on your list.
