2026 Grand Design RV Momentum G-Class 350G Review
The 2026 Grand Design Momentum G-Class 350G is designed for year-round adventures that include bikes, ATVs, kayaks, or even snowmobiles. And, what’s more, you can bring the whole gang along because this massive toy hauler boasts sleeping space for up to seven happy campers. Not only that, but the Momentum G-Class 350G floorplan offers loads of space for everyone to relax and recharge after the day’s activities. In addition to the main living area, this model boasts a completely self-contained living space at the back. Additionally, it also offers a great patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee with fresh air and scenery.
Of course, the other key component to a great camping experience is great food. With that in mind, the Momentum G-Class 350G serves up a well-equipped kitchen with all the necessities for keeping everyone well-fed.
As you might have already noticed, I’m very excited to tell you all about this toy hauler. So, let’s get rolling with this review — because there’s a lot to cover!
At a Glance: Momentum G-Class 350G
I rated the 2026 Grand Design RV Momentum G-Class 350G a 9.1 out of 10. Overall, as you might expect with a rating like that, this model offers a lot of very cool all-weather amenities and pet-friendly features. However, there are a few areas that I felt needed improvement. For instance, even the very impressive toy room could benefit from a couple of things — like adding some extra storage and another heat source.

Benefits
- Lots and lots space for toys — and those who play with them. Make no bones about it: The Momentum G-Class 350G is specifically tailored to campers with big toys. Further, this model gives you the option to comfortably sleep up to seven passengers — including five space in the self-contained toy room.
- Getting off-grid in any weather. With a heated and enclosed underbelly, R40 roof insulation, R30 floor insulation, a 35,000-Btu furnace, a cozy, 5,000-Btu fireplace, and three air conditioners, the Momentum G-Class 350G offers the unique opportunity to not only bring big winter toys (like snowmobiles), but to park them where you can play with them.
- Pet-friendly features. Amenities like built-in dog bowls, an enclosed patio, and screen door protectors make this model a great one for pet owners.
Challenges
- Requires one-ton dually to tow. This is a big RV. Like really big. Which means that it will require (at a minimum) a one-ton dually tow vehicle to tow it, plus a driver with towing experience.
- Limitations in the living area and kitchen. Seating space in the main area of the RV (not including the toy room) only consists of two theater seats. There’s nowhere else to sit. Likewise, the kitchen — while beautiful — really only has room for one chef at a time.
- Heating and cooling adjustments. With high ceilings, R7 wall insulation, and no secondary source of heat, the toy room will be hard to heat when it’s cold outside. Air conditioners and fireplace will need 50-amp power to operate. Further, I’d prefer to see -one-inch, marine-grade plywood (instead of OSB) in an RV that is designed for all-season use.

- Campers with older kids or teens who enjoy big toys now, but may transition to become empty nesters in a few years

Key Areas We Evaluate for RV Buyers
Sleeping Space: 9/10
The Momentum G-Class 350G has sleeping space for up to seven with a total of five sleeping spaces in the toy room alone. However, the main bedroom is in the front of this RV. There, you’ll find a north-south, walkaround, residential queen bed with nightstand cabinets on either side. (As well as USB ports and 110V plug-ins.) Overhead cabinets on both sides of the bed and a deep shelf offer storage for small items. I was really happy to find a cavernous storage space and furniture grade finished plywood when I lifted the bed. Next to the bed are mirrored wardrobe cabinets with drawers underneath them. The wall opposite the foot of the bed is prepped for a TV for cozy bedtime movies or shows.
The toy room (aka garage) has a queen bed that drops down from the ceiling at the touch of a button. Two additional sleeping spaces are created when the parallel bench seats unfold to become two twin beds. Overhead, there’s a sleeping loft. (Which could also be used as an out-of-the-way storage space when it’s not occupied.) This space is prepped for its own TV — something that would no doubt be handy if you had a group of kids (or even young adults) occupying the room. Also worth mentioning here is that the toy room is prepped for a washer/dryer, making it possible to avoid tedious trips to the laundromat.
Bathroom: 10/10
The Momentum G-Class 350G boasts two bathrooms. The full bath lies close enough to the bedroom that it could almost be considered an en suite. The toy room in the Momentum G-Class 350G offers its own half bath with a porcelain toilet and a sink for washing up after a dusty ride. This space has a small vanity with an acrylic sink and a high-rise faucet. The vanity cabinet beneath the sink offers convenient storage for cleaning supplies. There’s also a little space under the extended thermofoil countertop. (A handy spot for a laundry hamper.)
Inside the Master Bath
The full bathroom is in the main section of the Momentum G-Class 350G. For an RV bathroom, it’s fairly spacious with plenty of elbow room around the porcelain toilet. Anyone under 6 foot 5 inches will be able to shower comfortably in the 30-inch-by-48-inch, one-piece, acrylic shower. Not only that, but a tankless water heater makes it possible to enjoy a long, hot shower. (Especially nice after a day of snowmobiling or ice fishing.)
Like the half bath, this bathroom has a black acrylic sink with a high-rise faucet and an extended thermofoil countertop with space for a laundry hamper. There’s plenty of space for storing cleaning supplies in the vanity cabinet beneath the sink. Additional storage for small items is available in a wall cabinet and medicine cabinet. There’s also plenty of wall space to install your own towel or robe hooks or towel bars. The power vent fan is something I’d love to see in every RV. It automatically opens and closes the vent whenever the overhead fan is turned on. This eliminates the need to do it manually. (Something that can be challenging, particularly with residential-height ceilings.)
While I’m not a big fan of thermofoil counters and acrylic sinks (especially black ones, which can tend to look perpetually smudged), Grand Design RV has done a good job creating useful, comfortable space in both of these bathrooms.
Living Area: 8/10
There is a wealth of living space in the Momentum G-Class 350G — if you factor in the toy room/garage. The main living space offers reclining sofa/theater seats across from an entertainment center with a cozy electric fireplace and a 44-inch LED smart TV. The reclining sofa has a flip-down console containing cup holders and a snack table. (Always handy to have.) Beneath the TV, there’s cabinet storage for remotes or gaming consoles. However, within this area, it should be noted, the only real place to sit is the reclining sofa/theater seats.
Now, the self-contained garage and rear patio offer abundant additional living space as well. And further, two awnings extend to offer a place to set up some chairs and enjoy additional sheltered living space outdoors. The thing to remember, however, is that these expanded living areas aren’t as easy to keep warm in the winter months. (Which is why I there was another fireplace/space heater in the toy room.)
Kitchen: 9/10
An abundance of fantastic food is crucial to any successful camping trip. With that said, the U-shaped kitchen in the Momentum G-Class 350G serves up everything necessary to create delicious home-cooked meals. Let’s start with the food storage in this kitchen. There’s a floor to ceiling pantry along with loads of cabinets for storing everything needed to serve memorable camping meals. There’s plenty of room for food, dishes, and cooking supplies. In addition, you’ll find drawers with hardwood boxes — and a pull-out waste bin, making meal prep and cleanup a lot easier.
The roomy, 15-cubic-foot, French-door refrigerator with a bottom-drawer-style freezer offers lots of room for perishables, beverages, and even ice cream. Other appliances include a three-burner gas cooktop, a 17-inch oven and a small microwave to heat up burritos or other treats. I love that there’s a window over the stove to take advantage of natural light and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.
A big stainless-steel, farmhouse-style sink has a sleek, high-neck, pull-down spray faucet and roll-out drying tray. These features make washing dishes a lot faster and easier. I was very happy to see durable, solid-surface countertops in this kitchen with a limited (but workable) amount of counter space.
Camp chefs who take offense when other people invade the kitchen will rejoice here. This is definitely a one-person kitchen. A second cook would definitely get in the way here, although there’s room for a sous chef to peel potatoes, et cetera, on the other side of the sink peninsula.
Four-Season Capabilities: 9/10
This four-season, fifth-wheel toy hauler is equipped with a fantastic insulation package. It includes a heated and enclosed underbelly, R40 roof insulation, and R30 floor insulation. Additionally, it’s outfitted with three air conditioners, a 35,000-Btu furnace, and a cozy, 5,000-Btu fireplace.
With that said, the wall insulation is only rated R7. So, with no additional heat source, the big space of the toy room could be difficult to heat in colder months. However, adding a space heater to this area might offer a solution to this.
With that said, the Momentum G-Class 350G is an excellent three-season camper, but if you wanted to use it for winter camping, it would require an additional heat source in the toy room.
Storage Space: 9/10
End-to-end, the 2026 Grand Design RV Momentum G-Class 350G has an impressive amount of storage space. There’s plenty of cabinet and closet storage indoors to bring whatever you need to bring. Not only that, but with a robust 5,500-pound cargo carrying capacity, it can carry everything with aplomb. Also, with multiple 2,500-pound tie-downs, there’s room in the garage of the Momentum G-Class 350G for everybody’s favorite toys. The garage area is also washer/dryer-prepped. So, dirty gear can be washed without searching for a laundromat in the nearest town.
Outside, the Momentum G-Class 350G boasts generous passthrough storage and a large undercap cabinet that houses an NPS6000 inverter generator, as well as house batteries. Inside the passthrough, there’s handy access to battery and solar disconnect switches.
When it comes to storage for food, clothing, and outdoor toys, there’s plenty of space here. With that said, I would still love to see a place to hang jackets, shirts, and riding gear in the toy room.
Chassis/Suspension: 10/10
The 2026 Grand Design Momentum G-Class 350G sits on two robust, 7,000-pound axles. Suspension components include a MORryde 3000 suspension system with a Curt hitch pin. However, this big beast also boasts tow assist, ABS (antilock braking system), and and sway mitigation that make towing a lot easier.
Additionally, electric leveling makes it easy to get set up after you arrive at your destination.
Garage: 9/10
The self-contained garage in the Momentum G-Class 350G boasts plenty of room for motorbikes, ATVs, and/or any other toys you want to bring with you. With multiple 2500-pound tie-downs, everybody can bring their favorite toys.
Expansive living space is also created in the garage when the two opposite benches are set up as sofas. You could also make this a great space for a dining area by setting up a folding table between the parallel benches. In addition, the ramp transforms into a patio, providing the perfect spot to sip morning coffee while making plans for the day ahead.
The garage area is also washer/dryer prepped. So, dirty gear can be washed without searching for a laundromat in the nearest town.
Build Quality: 9/10
Along with superb craftsmanship throughout, there are a lot of little things that add up to impressive build quality in the 2026 Grand Design RV Momentum G-Class 350G. For instance, there are motion-detector lights at both entry doors and in the passthrough storage bay. Also, instead of coin rubber flooring in the garage there’s commercial grade, residential style flooring that makes it feel more like living space than a garage. This makes sense because the garage actually gets more use as a living space. However, it should said that the use of one-inch marine grade OSB in the floor is a cheaper option. It would have been preferable to have the structural benefits of one-inch marine grade plywood — especially in an RV that is designed for all-season use.
Value: 9/10
Overall, the Momentum G-Class 350G is a toy hauler that offers a lot of luxury, versatility, and utility. It’s the perfect toy hauler for families with teenagers, since it easily becomes a comfortable couple’s toy hauler when the kids move out. It would perform well for three- or four-season camping. (Although, as mentioned, the toy room might get chilly.) It all adds up to offer outstanding value for its class.
Closing Notes on the Momentum G-Class 350G
As a dog owner, I love that Grand Design RV made the Momentum G-Class 350G pet-friendly, with folding bowl storage in the toy room. Other pet-friendly features are screen door protectors, dog leash holders outside the doors, and the enclosed patio off the self-contained toy room.
Overall, this is a beautiful toy hauler. A French door connecting the main area and a separate entry door make the toy room its own self-contained space. This in itself is a neat feature, particularly if you have older kids, or just want to check on things in the toy room without extending the slide-out. The Momentum G-Class 350G is a well-designed toy hauler with impressive build quality.
