, Fifth wheels comes with their benefits, and one of those benefits is certainly storage space. Most often, that fact is out in the open to go with all the other desirable extras that a fifth wheel provides. However, there are some fifth wheel models that have a particular knack for surprise and delight, that go above and beyond with a huge hidden pantry. (Or in some cases, pantries!) Well — unlike the pantries — we don’t want them hidden anymore.
So, we’ve compiled here a list of five fifth wheel models with at least one hidden pantry that will bring a smile to any chef’s face. Let’s shine some light on them!
The Alliance RV Avenue 32RLS is one of the smaller fifth wheel trailers in the Alliance RV collection, but that doesn’t mean a shortage of expected (and unexpected) storage — as I discovered in my independent review of the 2026 model. This is almost the standard layout for a fifth wheel, so looking at this gives you the opportunity to see what a company does to set it apart. One of those things is width. This model measures eight feet, five inches wide — five inches more than the rest of the pack.
The kitchen offers good space and storage, and there is a pantry here, which has a plug in it for appliances. But then there’s also the magical space behind the TV where the TV swings away to reveal even more space. Plus, there’s an ottoman that’s used for seating at the dinette — and, lo and behold, there’s storage there too. For an RV with a really common layout, this is uncommonly spacious in both feel and function.

Some of the RVs in this list have a nice large pantry, but the Cedar Creek 29RL has three! Cedar Creek has redesigned this model with a new look but also now with windows that incorporate shades and screens into the build. (A nice upgrade.) Something several RVers will appreciate are the simple buttons to control the major functions. Also, it has the option to use an app as well. (So everybody can be happy. )
As for the three pantries, the first is what Cedar Creek is calling a Murphy pantry where the wall that holds the TV and electric fireplace swings open like one of those hidden rooms in old movies. Behind this wall, there’s a lot of storage and shelves.
But the second pantry is the first time I have seen this — where the camp-side wall of the island swings open to reveal a shallow group of shelves. This would be great for canned goods and such. Then there’s the front wall of the main living space with more cabinets and drawers. More drawers and cabinets are on either side of the stove as well. But even under the sink there’s a slide-out organizer. (This is typically an unused space.)
Length: 33 feet 3 inches • Weight 11,869 pounds • MSRP: $98,796 (est.)

If you’re looking for a big fifth wheel with plenty of sleeping space for families (or even friends on an adventure), this might be the answer. The Open Range 3X 393TBR offers three bedrooms in total and two bathrooms, making it potentially a perfect family hauler. But we’re here to look at pantries, and this one has them.
There’s a huge pantry space hidden in the wall behind the TV on this rig. This goes well with the wall of cabinets and drawers at the front of the main living space where there is also a sink. The interesting thing about this layout is that the island is used for seating rather than kitchen space, but that front space with the storage also has good counter space and the kitchen sink.
Interestingly this has four recliners in a slide room on the camp side.
Length: 44 feet 4 inches • Weight 15,260 pounds • MSRP: $134,243
Keystone RV’s Montana division is on a roll and the company recently went through these fifth wheels with an eye toward adopting changes requested by a vocal and large fan base. AdditionallyKeystone RV has a number of things that make the brand stand out thanks to their Innovation Lab, including all human-made flooring and wall materials, consistent wiring, and more efficient A/C ducting.
The Keystone RV Montana 3123RL, in particular, has a very large pantry behind sliding panels at the front of the main living space. But then there’s even more storage hidden behind the TV, which is mounted on a swivel. For anyone who needs that extra space, you’ll find it, hidden, in this fifth wheel. What’s more a pull-out pantry drawer alongside the oven offers more storage. There’s even a silverware drawer hidden under the dining table in this RV.
Length 35 feet 1 inch • Weight 12,881 pounds • MSRP $116,693
A lot of people might not realize that Rockwood makes large fifth wheels — and does a really good job of it. Their unique slipper roller suspension system means fewer bumps and jolts are transmitted into the trailers helping them last longer and features like frameless windows, in-house vacuum laminated walls and other highlights mean a good experience.
The Rockwood Signature Fifth Wheel 402SFL is the largest of the offerings from Rockwood. The pantry, which encompasses the back wall of the lower main living space, has a shallow but tall space. Then there’s a proper pantry in the kitchen. But don’t ignore the huge number of drawers at the front of the kitchen space. And for anyone who has struggled with limited counter space, this could be the solution with its multiple large counter tops. (This floorplan is also available as the Flagstaff Classic 402CFL.)
Length: 40 feet • Weight: 11,989 pounds • MSRP: $97,757
