We're a military family moving overseas and we love our 2014 Coachmen Freelander 32'11\' Bunk House Special built on a Chevy 4500 chassis, but we have to part with our baby. This RV w/5K lb tow pkg has been meticulously maintained inside and out to include regularly scheduled maintenance. Additionally, it has been methodically winterized every winter and stored indoors at all times when not in use, with the intent to last our family a long time. This model comes with hookups for TVs in the master bedroom, and in the front. There are TVs with DVD players in both bunks, the over cab bed/common area, and another one with sep DVD/stereo on the outside for watching the game while grilling some grub or relaxing under the shade awning. It has two slide outs with awnings to keep the leaves out of the top of your slide outs. The factory says it can sleep 9, but it can sleep as many as 10 adults comfortably. The Onan generator has been well maintained with regular oil changes, air filter changes and a new spark plug, and is sitting at 1130 hrs. on it. The roof has no damage and has been especially treated for longevity. Everything from the convection oven/microwave, refrigerator, freezer, stove, A/C & heat pump, heater, water heater, water pump, storage, in dash stereo/dvd player/backup camera, remote controls, master control panel with monitors for battery/LP/gray water/black water/aux, electric slide-outs, tank heaters, furnishings, beds, table, flooring, walls, cable, toilet, shower, and electric all work just as good they did the day we bought this RV. I also put a new aux battery in this last fall. This camper has been awesome for our family of 5 (two toddlers and a baby - all girls) and is easy to use for you new rv owners out there. If you're trying to decide between this and the Ford chassis, I can tell you that the Chevy chassis has more room in the cab and the Allison transmission had zero problems pulling my 22 foot boat through the Ozarks, & my 5000 lbs classic car & hauler through the Rockies. If you're trying to decide between this and a pickup with camper trailer, I can't emphasize enough how nice it has been to only have to stop for fuel and NOT for hotels, bathroom breaks, diaper changes, or food (did I say I have all girls). I've got a few extras I'll throw in since I can't take those with me either, and I'll be sure to show you everything you need to know about this awesome home away from home...as much as I wish I didn’t have to see it go. It has been perfect for moving from house to house across the country, vacations, and just going to see family for the weekend. You’ll be hard pressed to find one this nice for this price.
