K-Z RV was founded in 1972 by Daryl Zook in a small gas station in Middlebury, Indiana. K-Z RV’s first vehicles were created by just two people who designed, fabricated, and assembled a truck camper. Today, K-Z RV has grown from a small truck camper manufacturer to a large, multifaceted manufacturer with over a 450,000 square foot complex in Shipshewana, Indiana with 8 buildings and more than 300 employees. In 2014, K-Z RV was acquired by Thor Industries and continues to produce many of the most well-known towable RVs.
