The history of Shasta RVs is a large part of this history of the travel trailer industry as a whole. In 1941, founder Robert Gray’s first Shasta house trailer was designed as mobile military housing. The visual of a Shasta trailer was one that would become an icon for travelers. In the following decades, the company changed hands, and today Shasta RV is a division of Forest River, Inc. Although the offerings of the company have expanded and developed over the years, Shasta RVs continues to pride itself on being a part of the American Dream: "the freedom and desire to roam, explore and enjoy well-earned leisure time with the people we love."
In the current market, Shasta RVs offers an updated variation of their original Shasta trailers, as well as Oasis and Revere travel trailers.
