We are selling our gently-used converted 2008 Chevy express camper van.Mechanical information:31 gallon gas tank, takes regular. Gets roughly 20 to the gallon and has some serious pickup! Slows down a bit on hills as is common, and is rear wheel drive. It was very recently bought from Canada, and had to pass both Alberta and US border inspections for mechanical stability (I have documentation for these inspections, and for a later brake inspection). We have been driving it all over the west and south for the past few months and have had one issue, described below. The one problem it has mechanically is a known issue for Chevy Express, where the abs system engages during slow, dry stops. This hasn't caused us any issue, but it likely needs to be addressed. The brake system was inspected when we noticed the issue, and pads, rotors, and calipers are in excellent condition. The resolution is to either disconnect the abs system or repair it.Note: the speedometer is primarily in kilometers as the van was originally from Canada, but the computer system can change between either imperial or metric systems, and mph is visible below the kilometers.Conversion information:-solar panel and battery as well as a 250watt inverter; the max fan, overhead lights, fridge, and sink pump are all on a fuse box connected directly to the battery.
