Mallard RVs Information:

Mallard RVs

In 1952, Sylvester Hron founded Mallard Coach Corporation in West Bend, Wisconsin, manufacturing Mallard RVs travel trailers to appeal to the growing popularity of these vehicles among travelers. In the 1960s, there were a number of related products added to their lineup, including truck campers, tent campers, motor homes, and snow mobiles. The brand was owned for a period by The Entwhistle Company of Providence, then returned to an independent company which shut its doors to consumers in 1992, selling the name to Fleetwood, which also went out of business in 2009.

The original models offered by Mallard included standard hard-shell travel trailers, as well as a unique looking pop-up tent style camper which had a very distinctive look for its time. Vintage recreational vehicle enthusiasts seek out these unique campers and being able to purchase one is a real find.

Today, Mallard RVs travel trailers are produced by Heartland, which has returned to the roots of the company, offering several models of Mallard RVs travel trailers with a number of modern conveniences and luxury innovations. These new models are a smaller, lighter travel trailer with all of the features of a larger variation. From full featured kitchens to ample storage space, those in the market for a new model travel trailer can find a perfect layout for their lifestyle.

Heartlands is the parent corporation for many of the best-known brands in the recreational vehicle market, including Mallard RVs. In addition to their popular Mallard line, there are a number of other travel trailer brands, as well as fifth wheels and toy haulers that are produced under this umbrella corporation.

Those looking for support and a great community can find the resources they need in the Heartland Owners Club, which includes owners of Mallard RVs, as well as other brands. Membership in the club is free and includes access to exclusive branded items for purchase, discounts on parts and service, access to rallies and events, and an extensive support network.
