Fleetwood RV is a Southern California company that started in 1950 by John C. Crean. At the time, Coach Specialties Company made window blinds for travel trailers. The company was renamed several years later to Fleetwood Trailer Company and in 1957 was reincorporated as Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. By 1989, Fleetwood RV sales had reached the one billion dollar milestone. Fleetwood RV is now part of the REV Group and is headquartered in Decatur, Indiana.

Fleetwood RV 2019 models include Class A Diesel, Class A Gas, Class B Gas, Class C Gas, and Class C Diesel. The Class A Fleetwood motorhomes have unique chassis systems. The Class A Dieseld Power Bridge Chassis and the Class A gas Power Platform. These designs allow for more balance, control smooth ride, and space for families within their RV. The Fleetwood Class C gas line are built on the Ford E-450 with a custom MORryde frame. This combination reduces shudder and vibrations when in motion.
Fleetwood RV continue to make iconic vehicles including the Discovery and Bounder. Their quality engineering adds to the historical Fleetwood reliability and value for generations to enjoy. Fleetwood owners may also join the Fleetwood Motorhome Association. The yearly membership includes rally discounts and more. The Fleertwood owners club is member operated and supported by Fleetwood RV. There are three regional chapters that have been formed since 2001.
