Monaco RV began its story in 1968 as the Caribou Manufacturing Company, and the most popular of recreational vehicles was the Monaco. In 1977, the company changed its name as Monaco Coach Corporation. Over the next few decades, the company saw a rise in business until 2009 when Monaco Coach Corporation was forced into filing bankruptcy. Until 2013, Navistar International Corp was working hard to restructure Monaco RV, LLC and bring the line back. However, it wasn't until Allied Specialty Vehicles purchased the company in 2013 that the brand was brought back. It is now wholly owned by Rev Recreational Group, a subsidiary of Allied Specialty Vehicles.
Monaco RVs have always held the reputation of being luxurious and supplying only the best amenities one would need, despite the hardships the company faced. It has steadily gained ground since 2013 and has secured a permanent place in the luxury recreational vehicle world. The company stills offers their two successful models, Monaco Signature and Monaco Marquis. Brand new Monaco RVs are limited to just ten dealerships across the US.
Monaco RVs have incredible floor plans. They distinctly keep the space immediately behind the driver free so that the driver is not interrupted or distracted by anything taking place behind her/him. The bathroom is just like any you would see an important, lots of room for a shower and a toilet. Need a washer and dryer? Monaco has space for a stackable unit so you can avoid using the laundromat.
