Polish Cheese Pierogi
Ingredients:
Dough
1 cups mashed potatoes at room temperature
3 eggs at room temperature
2 1/2 cups flour
Filling
1 quart farmer's cheese or cottage cheese (see step 1 below of using cottage cheese)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks at room temperature
1/4 cup sugar
2 large or 3 medium onions, chopped
1 cup butter
