Dominion Enterprises (formerly Trader Publishing Company) has had exclusive trademark rights to use RV TRADER in the United States since 1994.  However, until 2010, a Canadian company had owned the domain name rvtrader.com.

In 2009 RV TraderOnline.com led the industry in average monthly site traffic with 34% more traffic than its closest competitor according to comScore.  comScore reports that RV TraderOnline.com generated 64% more traffic than its closest competitor in January 2010. According to Omniture, in 2009 RV TraderOnline.com received over 7 million unique visitors, over 40 million individual RV ads were viewed, and the site generated over 126 million pageviews.
